LONDON, Feb 24 (FAM) – Containerized exports from the U.S. to 10 major countries and territories in Asia (based on volumes at ports of destination) remained nearly unchanged in 2019, going down a minute 0.7% from the previous year to 5,958,060 TEUs, according to U.S. research company Descartes Datamyne.

By origin, exports to China suffered a double-digit contraction of 15.8% to total 1,748,420 TEUs. Containerized exports to Japan and South Korea improved 1.6% to 744,654 TEUs and 8.8% to 715,050 TEUs.
