HONG KONG, Jul 26 (FAM) – Hong Kong will lease a quarter of the five-story West Kowloon Terminus of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail to the mainland under a cooperation agreement.

Under the pact, which has yet to be signed, parts of the terminus will be “regarded as outside the territorial boundary” of Hong Kong and will be classed as a mainland port. The Mainland Port Area will take up some 105,000 square meters, which is about 25 percent of the total floor area of the terminus building.
