HONG KONG, May 22 (FAM) – Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon said that it will be making around 600 people redundant in its head office as part of a transformation programme to make both airlines more effective by improving the speed and quality of decision-making and putting a greater focus on its customers.

The changes, which will affect senior, middle management and non-managerial roles at the Group’s headquarters in Hong Kong, involving around 190 management and 400 non-managerial roles, including 25 per cent of management and 18 per cent of non-managerial positions respectively.
