TOKYO, May 19 (FAM) – The Japan Maritime Center (JMC) announced on May 17 that 1,155,644 tons of containerized shipments were exported from Japan to China in March, which surged 12.7% year on year. They increased notably on a value scale as well, soaring 19.2% to \751.3 billion.
Imports from China to Japan, meanwhile, expand a more remarkable 13.5% to 2,053,226 tons. In terms of value, the improved 9.3% to \1.165 trillion, marking the first year-on-year growth in two months.
