KUALA LUMPUR, May 2 (FAM) – Asia Pacific airlines achieved an overall international cargo volume increase of 12.7 per cent in March, as measured in freight ton kilometres, according to the latest data from the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA).

The strong performance comes on the back of an expansion in freight capacity, up three per cent year on year. This equated to a 5.8 percentage point increase in the average international freight load factor, which reached 67.6 per cent.
