BANGKOK, Mar 28 (FAM) – The rush of 3PLs and forwarders launching Asia-Europe overland multi-modal services shows no sign of slowing. DB Schenker has launched a new product connecting southeast Asia to Europe that it claims uniquely brings together the best aspects of international road and rail freight services.

Aimed at a variety of verticals, the Asia to Europe solution links Schenker’s cross-border trucking services in southeast Asia to Europe-bound rail operations departing from China.

Gregory Loh, director of the company’s Land Bridge division, said the combination of truck and rail services differentiated the company’s offering from pure rail freight companies and cross-border trucking providers.
