BUSAN, Mar 14 (FAM) – The longest ever freight train made the five hour journey from Obong Station in Gyeonggi to Busanshinhang Station in Busan. Two trains made a single round trip along the route as part of a test run.
The CEO of Korea Railroad (Korail), the national railroad operator, Hong Soon-man said:
‘We’ll continue to search for various ways to improve the competitiveness of the rail logistics industry, including the development of trains better fit for mass transportation, to reduce travel time and improve the punctuality of deliveries’.
