GUANGZHOU, Mar 14 (FAM) – China has budgeted a total of $116 billion for railway infrastructure construction this year, with Guangdong province spending $17 billion.

Construction will start on nine lines and includes three inter-city lines, one connecting Guangzhou, Foshan, Jiangmen and Zhuhai. Six other projects are long-distance rail lines and stations.
