CHICAGO, Mar 6 (FAM) – Member container lines in the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA) – Westbound have agreed on the need for an across-the-board rate increase for cargo moving from the U.S. to China, effective April 1, 2017.

The recommended general rate increase (GRI) is in the amount of US$100 per 40-foot container (FEU) for cargo moving via the U.S. West Coast, and $150 per FEU for cargo moving from U.S. inland points.
