WASHINGTON, Dec 29 (FAM) – In a strong defence for US involvement in global trade, FedEx Chairman and CEO Frederick W. Smith, has urged president-elect, Donald Trump, to reform rather than reject the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and NAFTA, a trade agreement with Canada and Mexico.

Following his election in November, Trump said the US would quit the TPP on his first day in the White House while he previously referred to NAFTA as “the single worst trade deal ever approved in this country.”
