FRANKFURT, Dec 2 (FAM)- When disaster strikes, the assistance provided must be fast, flexible and effective. Lufthansa Cargo and the German Red Cross humanitarian aid organisation have now signed an agreement that will put their cooperation on global aid transports on an even more efficient footing for the future.

Peter Gerber, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Lufthansa Cargo, and Christian Reuter, Secretary General of the German Red Cross, signed the framework agreement yesterday December 1, at Frankfurt Airport. This cooperation will considerably simplify and accelerate the preparation of aid flights.
