FRANKFURT, Dec 1 (FAM) – Nearly 70% of shippers are actively looking to standardise and streamline their supply chains and one third of companies are operating more than 10 supply chains, causing inefficiency and high costs, according to a new study commissioned by the world’s largest third-party contract logistics provider.


The white paper commissioned by DHL Supply Chain reveals that many businesses face supply chain overlaps and inefficiencies, with 42% of businesses wanting to reduce their number of supply chains to reduce complexity and streamline operations. And nearly 70% of survey respondents said they were now actively looking into standardisation solutions to reduce cost, inject agility, and streamline operations.
