HONG KONG, Nov 16 (FAM) – Hong Kong is keeping a close eye on trade and foreign policy shifts under US president-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration, but the city’s top official in the US is largely taking a wait and see attitude.

Hong Kong’s commissioner for economic and trade affairs in the US, Clement Leung Cheuk-man, expressed confidence in Washington maintaining a good relationship with Hong Kong, despite Trump repeatedly claiming on the campaign trail that China had stolen jobs that would be taken back to the US, reported the South China Morning Post
